Just like men, a woman can increase their Testosterone levels naturally to higher levels and they may well see a difference in many aspects of their like. Assertiveness is an area that is being looked at by scientists.

You have heard the assumption that successful women have higher Testosterone levels? Well, this may or may not be the case but if Testosterone does have an effect on assertiveness, then some of it can be explained in that women with higher than average Testosterone levels can be more assertive and thus be able to deal with life situations differently.
